Career Clarity Newsletter - January Edition
Starting the Year With Intention — Not Pressure
Happy New Year!
The start of a new year invites reflection — not a pressure to reinvent, but a quiet check-in: What actually matters to me right now?
For many of the women I work with, January isn’t about big resolutions or bold leaps. It’s about being intentional — choosing clarity over reaction, momentum over busyness, and steadiness over urgency.
That’s especially meaningful this year. Workplaces are shifting, priorities are changing, and not everything feels predictable. But intention gives us something solid to stand on. Even if we can’t control the system, we can choose how we position ourselves within it.
This month, I'm celebrating thoughtful career planning — the kind that honours your experience, protects your energy, and helps you move forward intentionally, one grounded step at a time.

2026 Coaching Programs – Now Accepting Applications
One of the unexpected gifts of uncertain times is the chance to slow down and get intentional about your career.
When change shows up, it’s tempting to react quickly. But taking thoughtful time to explore your options lets you reconnect with your value, clarify what matters most, and make decisions from self-trust — not fear.
This is what I help the women in this community do:
Clarify their direction and unique value
Show up with confidence
Position themselves for opportunities

Building Momentum Through Small Wins
In uncertain times, it's easy to freeze — or feel like you have to make a dramatic leap just to "do something." But momentum doesn't have to be big. Often, it comes from small, intentional steps that quietly build clarity and confidence.
Try this simple exercise: The Evidence Jar
Once a week, write down one concrete win — a decision, follow-through, or example of impact — and save it in a jar, journal, or Word document. By year's end, you'll have undeniable proof of your value.
Why it matters: Even small wins remind you of your capabilities, making it easier to speak up, make intentional choices, and move forward with confidence.

How to Stop Living on Autopilot and Choose What Matters Most
with Erin Coupe, How to Be Awesome at Your Job
Feeling reactionary, exhausted, or like you're just pushing through? This conversation offers a way forward.
Erin Coupe, founder of I Can Fit That In, shares how high achievers can shift from burnout to fulfillment through intentional living and self-leadership. After nearly two decades in corporate roles, she integrated neuroscience and energy work into a practical framework for sustainable success.
One key insight: We often get in our own way through limiting beliefs — repetitive thoughts that quietly shape how we see ourselves and our options. The shift isn't over-analyzing them, but noticing them without letting them run the show.
The episode reminds us that intentional doesn't mean perfect. It means creating small rituals that help you focus on what actually matters, instead of defaulting to what simply keeps you busy.
You already know how to take care of others. This is a gentle nudge to bring that same intentionality back to yourself.
4 | COACHING REFLECTION 🤔
Start Your Day on Purpose
Erin's conversation reminded me: how often do we operate on autopilot instead of creating intentional rituals that support how we want to show up?
Focus doesn't come from doing more. It comes from creating small rituals that bring you back to yourself.
Try a 5-minute "intentional start" ritual: Before opening email or jumping into meetings, pause and ask:
What deserves my energy today?
What does "enough" look like, not perfect, just enough?
How do I want to feel at the end of the day?
No plan or solution needed, just notice your answers.
These small rituals shift you out of autopilot, protect your energy, and create space for more intentional career decisions, even when the bigger picture isn't clear yet.
